• Strato di pietre e blocchi calcarei esteso nell'area del vano. L'US e caratterizzata da blocchi prevalentemente di grandi e medie dimensioni di forma poco regolare che costituiscono la superficie di strato molto irregolare. Il margine di definizione con l'US sottostante e diffuso. L'US ha restituito numerosi frr. di laterizi, ossa di animali e frr. di ceramica (anfore, acroma, invetriata)distruibuiti in gran quantita' anche sulla superficie dello strato. Una gran quantita di tegole e' stata individuata sparsa uniformemente nell'US. Una concentrazione di frr. di tegole di maggiori dimensioni e stata individuata a N della canaletta USCHPA23. L'US ha restituito un blocco calcareo lavorato (angolare?). Presenza di numerose valve di ostriche. [Layer of stones and limestone blocks covering the area of the room. The SU is characterized by blocks mainly of large and medium dimensions, of rather irregular form, making up a very uneven surface. The boundary separating it from the layer above is poorly defined. The SU yielded fragments of brick, animal bones and ceramic fragments (amphorae, plainware, glazed ware) distributed in large quantities on the surface of the layer as well. A large quantityt of tiles was identified distributed uniformly throughout the layer. A concentration of tiles of larger dimensions was identified N of channel PA 23. The SU yielded a worked limestone block (corner?). Presence of numerous oyster shells.]
